If you love plants, you will very much enjoy visiting the St. Rose Nursery in La Mode:

The variety of species is overwhelming, including a vast number of beautiful jungle vines, shade plants, flowers, and even some remarkable edible plants such as coffee, mamey sapote and delicious herbs.

The owner, Mr. Criswick, began the nursery in 1972 and has added many thousands of plant species over the years until it is now considered to be the top collection of tropical plants in the Caribbean.
